Gatwick Airport transfers

Gatwick Airport Transfers from Warwick and Leamington Spa

A longer southbound journey with two terminals to get right — planned in advance, with the vehicle committed to you for the whole trip.

The route

Travelling to Gatwick Airport

Gatwick is one of the longer runs we do from Warwickshire, and its two terminals mean the destination detail matters as much as the timing. Dropping at the wrong terminal costs a shuttle ride and a good deal of stress you did not need.

A journey of this length commits a vehicle for most of a day, so it needs proper notice. Once the date is agreed we plan the departure time around your terminal, your flight time and the traffic conditions typical of that part of the day.

This is also a route where comfort earns its keep. Over a couple of hours, a 6 or 8-seater with genuine boot space is considerably better than four adults and four cases wedged into a saloon.

Pickups can be arranged from

  • Warwick and nearby addresses
  • Royal Leamington Spa
  • Kenilworth
  • Whitnash and Heathcote
  • Barford and Bishop's Tachbrook
  • Hatton and Hampton Magna

Other communities within about seven miles of Warwick are welcome to enquire.

Route notes

What to consider for Gatwick Airport

Two terminals

North and South Terminals are linked by a shuttle but are separate for drop-off. Confirm which one your airline uses before the day.

A long southbound drive

The route runs south around London rather than through it. Busy sections and the time of your departure both affect how long the drive takes.

Book well ahead

Because the vehicle is committed for most of the day, Gatwick journeys need more notice than local or Birmingham work.

Comfort over distance

On a route of this length, legroom and luggage space matter. A larger vehicle is often worth it for a family or group.

Comfort breaks

A short stop can be planned into the journey where children, older passengers or medical needs make it sensible. Mention it at booking.

Accessible journeys

Accessible vehicles can be arranged for Gatwick transfers subject to requirements and availability, with as much notice as possible.

Vehicle size and luggage

Passenger numbers alone do not decide the vehicle on this route — case sizes do. Four adults with large cases will be far more comfortable in a 6 or 8-seater.

Include pushchairs, sports equipment and mobility aids in what you tell us, so we can confirm a vehicle that genuinely fits everything.

Planning the departure

We suggest a collection time based on the distance, your terminal and the flight time, then agree it with you.

For early-morning Gatwick departures, expect a very early collection from Warwickshire and arrange the booking as far ahead as you can.

Return journeys

Return collections are welcome and best arranged at the same time as the outbound leg.

Send the flight number, arrival time and whether you have hold luggage. Collection arrangements, waiting terms and return details are confirmed for each booking.

Flight and terminal information

What to include when you send your details

  • Pickup address or postcode
  • Terminal at Gatwick Airport, if known
  • Flight number and airline
  • Scheduled departure or arrival time
  • Number of passengers and cases
  • Any accessibility or assistance requirements

Collection arrangements, waiting terms and return details are confirmed for each booking.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

North or South Terminal?

Gatwick has two terminals connected by a shuttle, and they are not interchangeable for drop-off. Your airline and flight number identify which one you need, and it is worth confirming on your booking before travel.

Why does Gatwick need more notice than Birmingham?

It is a considerably longer drive, so the vehicle is committed for much of the day. Giving us as much notice as possible improves the chance we can cover your date and time.

Does the journey pass through London?

The usual routes head south around the capital rather than through the centre, but the roads involved are busy and the timing of your departure genuinely affects the drive.

Can you collect us from Gatwick on our return?

Yes. Send the arrival terminal, flight number, arrival time and whether you have hold luggage. Collection arrangements, waiting terms and return details are confirmed for each booking.

Is a comfort break possible on a longer run?

On a journey of this length a short stop is often sensible, particularly with children or older passengers. Mention it when you book so it forms part of the plan.
